Musicals by Candlelight
London
Since its London debut in 2022, Musicals by Candlelight has enchanted over 70,000 attendees and received glowing reviews from critics. Performances have taken place at iconic venues across London including The Actors’ Church in Covent Garden and Union Chapel in Islington.
The shows feature Icon Strings, a distinguished group of award-winning musicians renowned both internationally and in London, performing at venues such as the Royal Opera House and Royal Albert Hall.
New York
In March 2025, Musicals by Candlelight arrived in New York with two sold out performances at St Bart’s on Park Avenue celebrating the music of musical theatre composer Stephen Sondheim, on what would have been his 95th birthday.
The series has continue to run with shows dedicated to legendary American composers Rodgers & Hammerstein, as well as Christmas by Candlelight performances during the holiday season.
